SEOUL - Now Samsung has established itself become the world's largest mobile phone seller. In the last quarter, Samsung managed to sell more phones than Apple and Nokia.
Based on the analysis of Strategy Analytics, Samsung managed to sell as many as 27.8 million units of mobile phones in the last three months. Company based in Suwon, South Korea, was successfully controlled 23.8 percent market share of mobile phones worldwide.
While its competitors, Apple, only to sell as many as 17.1 million units of mobile phones. Company based in Cupertino, California, USA, it came second in mobile phone sales worldwide. The third is Nokia.
"Sales of Samsung's rise as an elegant design, service Android, memorable submerek, and broad global distribution," said Strategy Analitycs.
In the latest quarter, sales of mobile phone market increased 44 percent over the same period a year earlier to 177 units. Strategy Analitycs said Nokia sales fell 14.4 percent from last year's growth of 32.7 percent.
